This designer treated the home as a whole…there was a flow and connection from room to room. The bright yellow-green seemed to be downstairs and not in the main living space, so they had some fun with that. I agree with the chrome grid wall and the white tile changes, they had a distinct geometric feel that dominated the whole space, the painted wall, softer wall paper and furnishings are easier on the eye and will not look dated so quickly. It was nice to see a remodel that restraint was used, often you see more creative, cost-effective solutions like here.

I like everything except the blue painting on the wall by the stairs & the entrance tile because it looks like it belongs in the bathroom.

Love how she distanced herself from that chartreuse green decision.

The purple walls in the powder room just blew me away. I thought it was brilliant.

u can tell the designers hates the chartreuse nook; she never took ownership of it. i dont blame her, i hate it, too.

I’m into real peoples homes, they seem so warm and homey, not into all these rich looking museum type homes.

So she talks about "cold, distant interior" and "adding warmth" and then shows this metal geometric lamp and a bunch of other stuff that's clean-cut and harsh altogether… I understand that's the homeowners' style and it's all that matters, but it's not adding any warmth AT ALL!

Rest is all good but the dinning area is kinda like what you see in a restaurant & bar

I liked the "strange" installation in the kitchen, it was much more original and interesting. And if you're a true designer, you know not to outright insult a previous design.
