My former woodworking teacher still has all his fingers (or at least he did when I had him; he's retired now), though I did witness a couple of accidents during classes: one was when he got a finger injured on the blade of a machine planer, and the other was when he cut about a centimetre into the side of his hand with a band-saw. Thankfully, he didn't cut off any tendons. Lesson learnt: don't be distracted when operating machine tools.

Steve, Love your videos but I do have a safety note for you. I see behind you a case of IPA and the case looks as though its empty. I also don't see a refridgerator in your shop, an essential piece of safety equipment. I have found that a refridgerator either filled with IPA (my favorite) or a tap in the door brings balance to a shop. Just saying. Do it for the children.

I'm always being told how i could loose a finger or two by people i know so i have started using only my teeth when cutting things. Look forward to the new video.

you look like your house, and you should (for safety's sake) make sure your car is wheel chocks before leaning behind it like that. Also, I have duck tape, and one tic tac box, can I make a chess board like you did?

Hey, as far as youtube comments go…you don't get them too too bad…seems like half of the ones I read on other videos are questioning other people's heterosexuality….

    Happy new year.
