    DiResta, it's not a total fail if you don't mind firing off the lock back lever. grind off the brass switch part you brazed on. make new lock lever with a longer lock pick. deepen the original lock pocket on the blade. then close the blade and make new lock pocket for the closed position. the release to open it will be the release to unlock it now. I could be wrong, but I think that's how I'd do it if so inclined

    Lol used a drill bit as the lock pin XD. Also this works similarly to the Masters Laser Screwdriver.
