I have a question, if I wanted to make a tv stand out of this and have 'cubbyholes' for my game systems how would I go about making the sides and shelves? I think this and some wood accents would look gorgeous, but I'm not sure of the sturdiness of the sides with concrete and the weight of a tv on them.

Is concrete expensive? Otherwise, this looks like a great project.

I wonder if the gold would look better if you mixed it with the resin instead of applying them separately.

I thought you would use the hot glue to weaken the concrete, then break it, and paint the crack somehow!

I really want to try this with different colors. I'm thinking maybe copper or turquoise.

This has nothing to do with Kintsugi, merely immitating it.
