Over 9 years ago. Wyatt has grown up a lot. I agree that you should do a new video soon of you two revisiting this.

Just reflecting on some old videos of yours. It would be cool to see you and your son do this again. Probably get a better quality video on a cell phone too – lol

Rode this coaster for two hours straight during a corporate event. Was beaten and bruised the next day but it sure was fun!

The backseat video really captures the feel and look of the experience !  "Get ready to Dip – Giantly !"  Priceless.

I miss the Boardwalk so much. When I was 10 and 11, my sister lived in Monterey (about four years ago). My mom and I would go to the Boardwalk almost every night and I remember once riding the Giant Dipper over 40 times in a day. Thank you for this video – it was actually filmed around the same time I may have been there. Brings back nice memories and makes me wanna go back all the more!

I don't understand what the appeal is of such an old roller-coaster; it reminds me of the idiocy of these people that extoll old movies; it's just as stupid.

I grew up in San Jose and during HS moved to the Santa Cruz mountains, oh how I miss the smell of the salt in the air, the sight and smell of hippies and fishing the many piers. Capitola, SC area must be the prettiest place in the world!
