black pipes I looked at in home depot are sticky, and when i hold them I see that they are leaving black stains on my palms. did you clean yours in any different way?

At about the 0:25 mark, you screw in a cross section. How do you screw in one side, without it uscrewing from the opposite side? It doesn't appear that union connections were used. Thanks for any tips.

Is there a link or anything of the sort where it lists in detail exactly what you need for this project?

This is a great idea. I'd assemble the pipes a bit differently though. The position of the legs is good, but I think the upper pipes should be towards the ends of the bench and the lower pipes towards the middle to support the weight of the people sitting on the bench. But this is really cool nonetheless.

This looks great. Does the bench warp in the middle over time? of the 2" of depth enough to prevent that?

awesome, I think I will add another 2×12 on top and remove half of the part where it meets with the pipe from the upper piece and half from the lower so it seems as if the pipe went into the wood. good job!

Great idea. I think I'm going to do this. However, I'd put the pipe clamps on the bottom to avoid seeing them.
