    Thanks for all of the help! It turns out that the lathe tool WAS too high! The quick release was partially engaged when I did a tool change, so it didn't fully seat. I showed the change in my Instagram story if you're interested.. http://www.instagram.com/iliketomakestuff

    Awesome video love the combination of techniques, maybe next time after soaking it in the stain you could putting it in a small oven to dry it out again. Also i actually the idea of the raised grain, gives it a better grip. Great video

    Why not hot glue? Hot glue will glue anything together

    A quick release button from going baton to nunchucks, probably integrated into interlocking cylinder with a physical throw of the arm

    I made the Netflix Billy club in college. At the time I thought it was pretty snazzy. Now tho… it sucks. If only I had a lathe
