    IF you came to this video looking for beginner advice on sous vide, please search elsewhere. Very little of the info they give is actually worth ever listening to.

    Wrong. Ive done all meats Sous vide and all are brilliant. I sear after cooking. I did a cheap roast for 14 hours and it tripled the price of the meat.

    I GIVE UP! Third video and not a single one properly ages their steak before cooking! This one needs sued because they actually claim it's like a "steakhouse" steak! A STEAKHOUSE ages their steaks! What an insult!

    LMAO! I think it’s a consensus these two have no idea what a gorgeous sear looks like. Feel bad for the cow’s sacrifice but then again, it’s just proof that the sous vide technique is extremely easy even these two wanna be’s can cook a good ugly looking steak.

    Y'all gotta mention that you're using a cast iron pan. IT is a huge difference versus a non-stick surface.

    In case anyone who is new to sous vide gets the wrong impression, precision timing is not needed. With a steak, it can stay in the hot bath for an hour after reaching the ideal cooking temperature. The reason is, and it's kind of hard to believe, the meat doesn't cook more, it just sits at the correct temperature. Also, absolutely no point to searing before sous vide.

    Nothing worse than the know it alls in the comments on youtube. Don't do this, do that, blaa blaaah blaa. The beauty of Sous Vide is it's really hard to mess up. So double sear, reverse sear, leave the bag open, none of this really matters, the steak will come out uniformly cooked and delcious.
