Looks fantastic for now but as soon as baby can start to move the picture above the crib will be a hazard and so will the curtains. I also hope you got blinds without cords. Safe is more important than pretty where young babies are involved.

I just redid window coverings in my family room and attached open kitchen, using ceiling mounted Ikea rails. We did have custom window coverings for 20 years, so imagine my surprise when the floor to ceiling, wall to wall curtains went up. Great light blocking for keeping it cool in the afternoons and for watching movies, and the continuous rail and wands help us open and close curtains any way we want. Not custom but ever so practical and pretty! Thanks for the video!

My curtain rods are right under a bulkhead I have going across the top of the windows. Is that the best way to mimic what you recommend in the video? The bulkhead is for the heating/cooling so it’s not going anywhere

I've been following your youtube for some weeks ago before I moved to my small-shared apartment in NY. I followed the tips and I finally able to make my bedroom so much cozier and homie!
I should say that drapes and rugs are the must-have ones. These two things are the most "room changing for my bedroom"! Curtain certainly "softens" a square window frame. I put two types of rugs to divide my apartment into two sections: study corner, and the others (bed+dresser). Additionally, I drew some pictures and hang them to get a more personalized room and fill in the blank space above my bed (my headboard is too low and I have a high ceiling).

Thanks for the videos! I totally am gonna watch more because I'm planning to design my house for the end of next year. Please add more videos for the interior in small houses especially because nowadays, it's harder to get a big house in a city!

Hi Sharrah. Can you do a video on ways you could update your apartment to make it a "Smart Home"? I am looking for ways to make my single life more efficient and easier.

Honestly those curtains made the room look less good aesthetically to be honest … shame you removed the shutters they can just open it for more light to me the room doesn’t look better unfortunately

No curtains in the master room, only blinds, in the living room I do have them but not from the ceiling… I have cathedral ceilings and those are tall ceilings.
