I stack books on my tables because I have several hundred of them and I'm running out of space to put them. I've read them all and I love them. I don't find it overdone at all. You would only say that if you don't enjoy reading and learning.

Just because her home is waaaaaay better than yours – that's no reason to hate. Plus – not everybody wants to live in piles of clutter, garbage, chaos, toys and possessions exploded everywhere.

Looks like a magazine home. The only thing is, as much as I love design and interiors, I like to get a true sense of who lives there and how they live. Books on a coffee table (unless you're an Editor working through a mountain of books) is so overdone. I also like homes that have a lot of pictures of those who live there (and their loved ones). And I find it a bit lame when the house is overly staged (with carefully placed throws, empty vases (which are basically for flowers in my opinion), and other knickknacks that are for decor purposes only. I like a stylish, comfortable, bookish, and lived in home.
