I suppose the thing is to make the friction between cards less than the friction between the roller and the card, if you are going to use just the friction to advance the cards. Here's what i would try first, On the back of each card laminate a piece of waxpaper, waxy side out of course. There should be a way to still make them look nice.

Excellent stuff Steve, you really do make me smile. I love the down to earth style and the fact that you show the projects warts and all, even when they don't go quite the way you planned! Cheers!

Oh Wow, this is freakin' spookie wierd…

How did you know I was just asking about how to make one of these magical, mystical, rolly, polly, pop out the card thingy….

But, like you said, don't ask what you already know the answer to, right…?

Hey but you know what…? If you think about it, that'd be a real cool way to distribute your cards at the next network marketing or Online Marketers event you go to, yeah..?

Hey, see you again real soon….You can bet on it..!

Love the box. I think I could use that in the music classes i teach. I could see using it to play music question games with my students. Have you ever tried making an instrument called a cajon? There are several videos of people playing this instrument on youtube.
