Steve, you ever thought about making a cigar box guitar? Looks like a neat project that i'm thinking about trying. Thought you might could make a great video on one!

    I've really enjoyed your videos.

I got my bride her 1st guitar for Christmas as she has been wanting to learn to play. The other day she said she needed a guitar stand. I looked at the music store and there wasn't a lot of choice in stock and seemed kind of pricey too. I thought about making her one, so I googled and your old video came up. I never knew you made a guitar stand. Now, I kind of have an idea after seeing your video and some others. Thanks…

Nice Job, Steve.  I know this is an old video, but do you remember if you installed some kind of support in the back so it would tip backwards?

I saw people play smoke on the water and knew it was 0-3-5-0-3-6-5-0-3-5-3-0 by looking i thought it was boring so I avoided playing it (although I love the song, machinehead is one of my altime favorites), the first song I ever played on guitar was master of puppets or thunderstruck, I learned them both the christmas I got my guitar and I was alright for a first time player, I was the king of one string by the end of the day basically haha

Just a lil comment about point No 2 .
If you spent $600+ on a guitar i'm sure you could afford a lousy ass guitar stand??? :/

umm… your ladder rungs are flat… your flipping block is rounded on the inside… make the ladder rungs round… smooth off the edges or make rungs out of dowel.

I also suck at guitar, and I suck at woodwork, but I love doing both… But I have seen a lot of your youtube videos, and I am getting better at at least one of those .. Great Videos, keep them coming. It's getting a little weird though, as every time I sit in front of my computer, I get the urge to get up and run to my Garage.. Don't have a Band Saw (I WANT ONE) but will probably end up using the Jig saw for this one… Even try the Scroll Saw.. Thanks again Steve…
