It's small room but you definitely maximize the storage. So no storage under the sink, no storage behind the mirror and lack of counter around the sink….no, no, no. I will rather save on the wall paper and made those additional storage.

Rare to see a designer who chooses a style to respect the historical context of the home, rather than a Pinterest board of current trends. Kudos to you.

So you splurged on everything except the mirror.

Nice renovation. Focusing on what will be noticed and splurging on those items is a great way to go.

I have a question. What is the rule for drapes and curtains ( pattern vs solid) when your wall color is dark on top and lighter on bottom? Thanks

I would use wallpaper in a powder room, not in a bathroom due to humidity.

if that is her only bathroom, the pedestal sink was not a good idea. There is no room for her curling iron, makeup, etc. or even a toothbrush for that matter. There is so much wasted space that could have been utilized under the sink and it appears that the space would allow for more counter space. They went for "utilitarian" on the bathtub but totally skimped on the sink

This is heritage done right. It's not a cheesy pastiche of an old house, it just looks really timeless. Nice job!

I love that your videos about your home renovations always discuss cost savings. It's never easy spending large amounts on something when you don't have the $$$ to spend. Thank you so much! Your bathroom looks amazing. I also thing that the kitchen cupboard was the better choice!

There's no storage…..where does she put all her products or cleaning supplies or heck even her toothbrush or tooth paste????

I like so many things about this bathroom and certainly that includes the creativity and money saving ideas.  I love the print wallpaper, with the solid  color shower curtain, and the floor's pattern.  The space is not big but it is smart. I also like that the design can inspire one to rethink the possibilities of their bathroom.  Wallpaper for a bathroom….hmmm.
