I like that sanding spindle you have. Do you have a recent tour of your shop tools? Great job Steve…

Good idea.  Much cleaner than what I do.  My process is to stick them in ziplock type bags and hang them on a peg board.  Works for me but not as neat as this vid.  Thumbs up Steve.

Another great video Steve. Seems as you like the whole organisation thing, how about a multi tape dispenser for masking tape etc? There's surprisingly few videos on this.

A great idea Steve, and it makes me envy you all in the USA just a little more. If I put something like that in my workshop here in the outskirts of Sydney, within a few days it would almost certainly have something deadly living in it!

A hinged lid might be a little more convenient, so you wont lose the lid. But otherwise nice build!

The handle on the top makes it look like you can carry the storage caddy by the handle, which of course can't be done.  Put a hinge and a latch on the top, and you solve that problem.

You should be careful with that box, if you have any rags with finish on them or any flammable liquids on the rags, it can catch fire really easy from being hot! Like so he can see this!

This seems like a really good project to make for storing rolled up pairs of socks as well. socks always seem to wander around my drawer and separate from their pair.
Thanks for the fresh idea Steve!

What was the router bit (dimensions plz) you used to cut the rabbets?
Yes MDF is mostly lovely to work with. I used a surform rasp to trim the edges when I made a couple of speaker boxes out of MDF. Worked like a charm. I hear a farriers rasp is also super for this.

You know what also creates a lot of aerosol that's very definitely bad to breathe? Spray paint. Just saying ;-)

I love the idea, but the shirt storage looks like it would be a good home for mice or insects. I think I would put a door on the front hole.
